Wondering if any Feejers are going down, up, or over to Ocean City Bike Week Sept. 13 - 16 and maybe we could meet up at Seacrets (one of the coolest & biggest bars set atop sand and palm trees this side of Jamaica!)

Been to OC many of times and all great and memorable. Stayed at the Hilton Beach Club last year (pricey but I got points so hey?) We also camped on Assateague Island before with the wild horses plotzing themselves right on our campsite, pretty neat but no alcohol rule there so hiding your drink was a pain. That being said, I've booked a hotel again but couldn't get the Hilton :(

Bands this year incl. The Charlie Daniels Band, 38 Special, Jackyl, Grand Funk Railroad and more lesser name bands. Tons of other bike related entertainment is all over the place. I heard from my son that Mike Ballard and Angie (the *** plopper from Full Throttle Saloon) will be there mingling and my 16 yr old son who watches FTS (he's so addicted!) asked if we can go again so he can meet them? and me being the good dad I am... "sure we can go see em!" ...he didn't have to twist my arm!

So if anybody is going maybe we can do a meetup somewhere :)

OC Bike Week! Make sure you pull two spark plugs so that you'll fit in. Just fun'n. I've never been which is a shame because i'm close; but when choosing a flat ride eaast or mountain ride west OC alway looses.

Sounds like a good plan! I've never been to bike week in OC. I know a lot of folks who attend almost every year. Every one of them a Harley rider. Its almost an extended bar run from here.

It's about 7-8hrs from here. Pennsyltucky's I81 to I87 (Penn-Tpike) is pretty boring, OC is surely not! So I make the journey every year. I see mostly HD's but some jap cruisers like vstars do make their showings and noticable (at least by me). One nite we were eating at Phillips Crab House close to ~34th St? and tons of sport bikes flying up and down Baltimore Ave. The HD guys were shaking heads, I was smiling up a storm.

Personally I think I like the abuse and underdog role us Jappers have :yahoo:

My son already has plans of redemption on the Go Kart tracks we visit there. With me owing a company that sells them (Go-Karts 'R' us) he really thinks taking me in the esses is like beating Dale Earnhardt.

I think that's the same weekend as another event I plan to attend, but if not, I'll ride out for the day on Saturday.

I met Checkswrecks today and we were talking about trying to scare up an RTE in the area, so you guys be on the lookout for that!

Nope I'll be in La Pine "eating my fu**en Ruben. Been to Perryville though, had the best Philly beef ever at some lil' hole in the wall north of there.
