Athens food:

Court Street Diner. Great old time diner atmosphere. Awesome milkshakes. Great food and um "scenery"

There is also just about every type of restaurant there. Basically pick an exit and you'll find something. I can lead you to the Diner with directions if'n you'd like.

If it's Friday your're talking about, I *could* meet you guys. I'm supposed to go into work early, but that may fall thru.

That diner sounds good to me.

Joe - whattaya think?

Thompsonian - can you meet there between 11:30 am and noon? Going in to work early is soooooo overrated. You're supposed to go in late and leave early to make up for it.

Perhaps directions in case MapSource can't find it as well? Please? Pretty please?

Oh.....I suppose I could go in at my normal time on Friday! Besides, gives me a reaon to ride 550.

If you're coming down 33, meet me at the 550 exit which also has Taylor Nissan. I believe the exit also shouws for Chauncey. There is a BP station just off the exit to the right.. I'll meet you there around 11:30AM.

***SHOULD something happen and I can't make it, I'll try to let you know by Thursday night. I'm meeting Wayne ( extrememarine) for breakfast that morning. Here are directions:

Take said exit, bear right towards Athens. Follow into town. You will pass Athens Sport Cycles ( Yamaha,HD dealer ), then up the hill, there is a Dairy Queen, sfter that is 1st stoplight. Go straight. Go straight thru the next stoplight as well (#2). At the 3rd stoplight, turn right up a hill. Street name is Congress I believe. You will then go up hill thru first stoplight. At the bottom of the hill, you will need to turn left at the next stoplight. Go 1 block, turn left again onto Court Street. Basically, you have to loop the entire block due to one-way streets. Get into the right lane and you will see the dinner on the right thru the stoplight. Parking is in the rear of building.
