Hey all,

(EDIT): WE CHANGED OUR RIDE PLANS TO WESTERN WI. Check post # 8 below for the meet time and location.

We will meet at 0830 am. My buddie on the C14 is coming. Anyone and all are welcome to come.

Weather projection, so far, is a high of 60 and partly Sunny.... Though, I am sure it will be a little cooler than that in the am.

Man, if I wasn't working this weekend I'd meet you in Two Harbors and ride south. Work!! :angry2: :angry2:

Hey WW, what's going to be the route?

Ridin' the freeway up & back doesn't interest me all that much, but if you're going a back way I'm in.

Just a thought, are you guys sure you don't want to head south to Hwy 60 then into Wisconsin? Roads are more fun. :exhappysmiley:

Gramps,

We were thinkin the Wi roads on the way up and which ever way(superslab or backroads) on the way back, depending on individual time constraints, maybe individual routes, then just depending. Big "R" on the Connie has to be back by 4pm. He has posted this ride on the C14 forum too. I am open to fun roads no matter where they lead. Two Harbors was Big "R"s idea but can easily be changed. I am sure he is willing to go where any FUN road goes. Give me a call if you game and let me know what your thinking.

Here's what I was thinking, this is one of my favorite routes.

But I'm game for taking the back way to Two Harbors if plans have been made already.

If you want to head south let me know & we can set up a meet place....the easiest would be the park & ride where Hwy 61 & Hwy 10 meet.

Gramps,

Sound good to me. I will get a hold of big "R" and run it by him.

Ok all,

Just got the final plan together.. Gramps, I spoke to my big "R". We might have a couple of riders coming out of Saint Cloud so we are bumping

the meet time up to 0830 am. We will meet at Point Douglas Park. It is on the North side of Hwy 10, on the MN side just before you cross the bridge

into Prescott, WI. We will then roll into Prescott, Wi and fuel up and have some breakfast. We are gonna do Gramps' highly recommended ride that

is linked out above in post #6. Looks like a very sweet twisty route and is easy to break off from if some riders have to get home earlier. Anyone

is welcome to join us!

All,

I live in Prescott and would like to tag along. I checked out the map and might have to break off from the group in Nelson. I've got to be home in the early afternoon for family things. There's a Freedom gas station just accross the bridge, I'll be there waiting.

Erik.

Count me and Frank in. Any idea which download version of that map will work on an older Street Pilot 3 (I have version 4.01, the map is 4.08)

Sorry Rad, I was out all afternoon & evening....I thought for sure you would be able to upload the GPS coordinates from the site, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

When I uploaded it to Sunday Morning Rides site I maped all the GPS waypoints & they did the rest. Sorry

See you guys in the morning.

Oh wait, I'm kinda slow...up in the left hand corner of the map you can click on "Download" & it will give you options (files) on what to download to.

Hope that works.
