Got to JWhite's house at about 10. Puppychow showed up about 10:30. We rode Redwood to Skyline to Grizzly Peak to the Wall. Then we went into Concord to the IHop for lunch. That's where we parted ways: I came home, and JW and PC headed east on Clayton for Morgan Territory Rd. The weather was hazy sunshine, but spritzing when we came out of IHop. Great seeing Jerry and Sam, twice in one week. JB

Great riding with Jerry and Hans today. Great riders both of them, it was good to follow their clean lines with Jerry dipping his GoldWing without trepidation (on dry roads) and Hans hanging off the FJR. As for me, I hung back - these were unfamiliar roads to me, no point in trying to keep up.

Pictures soon, I haven't even looked at them yet. Got home about 1/2 hour ago - it was damp all the way home from Livermore with light rain on Vasco Road. Winter had returned today.

Glad you boys both made it home S&S. A really fun day!

I wanted to get home early enough to finish framing my portrait of Emily and hang it in her room. The smaller pics to the left of the large portrait (4' tall) are by Em, who takes after her dad. :)

Bottom Left. I want to see a closer up of that one!

PS - Got some time to play with the pictures. I am very bummed the picture of Jerry and I riding inside the cloud on top of Morgan Territory did not pan out. The condensation overwhelmed the camera lens

I got up into the foothills (don't have a cell# for PC. Visited a friend in El Dorado Hills, where it was sunny, and went up Salmon Falls Rd. Cut south on 40 and went up Marshall Grade via Prospectus Rd, then out to the American River Canyon and out Rock Creek to Mosquito. Fun run over to Placerville, then out to Fair Play via Sand Ridge, and a return on E16 and Latrobe. Beautiful day anywhere above 1000 feet.

I started the camera to take a video of twisties on Rock Creek, but the batteries were a no-go.

I love the Redwood, Skyline area, but Redwood Canyon was very greasy when I was there about December 5. It takes a long time for that road to dry out. Glad you guys got together.

Those are the exact roads Puppychow said he'd take me on any time I want to ride the foothills. Tit for tat, as it were. We'll wait til it warms up and dries out.
