Well, it doesn't fit adjacent to the battery between it and the fairing. The stock cables on the Neutrino won't reach from the battery to under the seat.
I kind of like the idea suggesting a lithium iron battery and placing it in the battery tray. Anyone know how much smaller the Shorai replacement is? I have one on my ST and really like it. Plus, I already own the charger for a Shorai.

Looks like the Shorai replacement is only and 1/8" smaller in length and width, but a good 1 5/8" shorter. I could put the neutrino on top of the battery.
Edit: I'll be darned. The Shorai in my ST is the same model they sell for the FJR. This could be easier than I thought!
