This sounds fun!
I will have to see what the future holds for me. I may be moving out west.

It's gonna be great! I'm really looking forward to this one.... Sounds like loads of fun, great eatin' and a chance to meet some new friends as well. :yahoo:
Anybody from FL want to head over and do this???
As of now there are 8 attendees that are confirmed definates and probably 20 or so that I am aware of that have stated they are trying to get it worked into the schedule. Therefore I am guessing that there will be about 15 inaugural Twisty Butt Association members. Gonna be a hoot!...how many are booked?
Mark thanks for the heads up on this, sounds like total fun.JamesK is in Florida and is thinking about coming over for the ride. Shoot him a pm and maybe ya'll can hook up.Anybody from FL want to head over and do this???
:yahoo: Alright Mark and murph! It be good!It is confirmed...I will be down there as well as murph.
We will be heading down to Hooterville, MO on Thursday PM to eat catfish, riding the curvies between Hooterville and ******* on Friday, riding- probably the 400 mile route on Saturday- because we are not worthy, and blasting back the 600 or so miles on Sunday. Sounds like loads of fun, great eatin' and a chance to meet some new friends as well. :yahoo:
See you down there Scott...how many are booked?

Not sure about how many booked yet, the BW's a little confused. I'll try and get that worked out pretty quick!
Hey man, thats a good question. When I set the routes, I started with the 500 and then did the 400 and 300. I just cut some off the 500 for the other 2. The western side (of hwy 65) has really got the better roads IMO, more miles, has less traffic and more remote than the eastern side. One comment and a couple of questions regarding the routes.
COMMENT: Man those routes look great...the eastern part of those routes I've run...and some of the western parts I would have run if I didn't go ditch surfing last fall. I am so psyched as these roads are unfrigginbelievable. :yahoo:
It looks like the eastern part of the routes of the 300, 400, and 500 are the same...but the loops on the western parts of the routes get bigger...depending on how many miles one is going to travel that day.
QUESTION 1: Given this, would it be better to do the eastern part of the route first and then once you get to the western part decide how long a loop you're going to do (based on what time it is and how tired one is)?
If this is true, then I would think counter clockwise direction from the start at ******* would be desired as opposed to the clockwise direction shown on the linked route in Post #1. What do you say Scott?
Don't get me wrong...I'm not asking you to reverse the route...I can do that on my own tankbag turn sheet using S&T.
Question 2: Are there any roads which run better in the direction you have shown vs the opposite?
Question 3: For those NOT manning up and doing the "Arkansas All Day" - Official TBA ride of 500 miles, is the "CliffHouse Restaurant on the route...or close? It's been a couple of years since I've been there and forget which road it is on...and my MS S&T or Google Maps don't seem to want to get me to the spot I remember.
Well I dont know about you, but me and Jill dont always get along so good, that chick will tell me to take a turn somewhere and there aint no roads, shes conniving something, I just dont know what!Scott, do you happen to have a Garmin GPS route file for the 500 mile run? I have trouble finding our way out of a walk-in closet without a GPS If I listened to my wife 1/2 as well as I listen to American Jill, we would hardly ever argue
