the only bikes that belong in the back of a pick up are dirt bikes...if God had wanted us to carry road bikes in the truck, he would have given us all Harley Davidsons. Nuff said.

Oh, that's money. You actually started a funny thread, beemer, prouda you, boi........

Ya, kind of like hanging out at the boat ramp the around Memorial Day Weekend. Good entertainment!
We don't have just one weekend like that down here. If you pick the right place it is every weekend of the summer. There is a landing here that shares its parking lot with a bar called Fred's. I spent many happy Sundays sitting on the deck watching drunks try to pull their boats out. Not uncommon to see the entire truck trailer assembly disappear under water. Good times.

I wonder why if all those folks were scared during this operation did so few of them even wear a helmet?

I love Freds! Is that bar across the road from them open again? I haven't been in that area in almost a year.

Serious answer? Most people have no idea what a helmet is actually supposed to be protecting them from. They think it is the 70-80 mph they will be driving at that it protects them. It isn't, and it won't. They do not know that it is just bouncing your head off the pavement from ~4-5 feet, which can be fatal. If you wack your gourd directly off something stationary at 80 mph you'll be deader than dead with or without a helmet.

Stepping back from the serious safety discussion . . . Great video, Don. I especially enjoyed the ones where all the buds are sitting around drinking beer and watching the loading proceed. It's almost as if they know something entertaining is coming.

I also enjoyed trying to anticipate how each set up was going to result in something worthy of inclusion in this set.

That was the one with the stretched out chopper and the real wide ramp right?

That was the only one I didn't understand why it failed.

Seems like Mike Myers is too weak from all the crack smokin' to hold the big hog up?

Sciviques is the name of the other place and it is now a church. Can you believe converting a barroom into a church? My parents live about 4 miles from there and I live about 10 or so.

Can nobody actually see that angle where the straight ramps meet the tailgate? Incredible!

The long chopper made me go back a couple of times. Looks like he stepped into space off the side of the ramp when it stopped. Need four ramps side by side instead of three.... Did nobody pace the distance of that truck bed and then the length of the bike???

Yeah, it never gets old watching people try to use stuff they know nothing about. Like physics and gravity.

My sister lives about 10 or so miles away from there also. Off of hwy 42? i think.

There is a reason for motorcycle trailers but instead of buying a trailer for say $1000 these chumps spend money on a ramp for a pickup truck then proceed to trash their motorcycle.

Great entertainment Don. Thanks for sharing.
