Attention Virginia Eom Participants

Hey you Virginia people. There are quite a few of us making it to EOM this year... & time is getting close. Has anyone started route planning, yet?

I am seriously thinking about heading directly out on 58 until Rte 133. 133 drops into Shady Valley, TN. Of course I must make a stop at Shady Valley Country Store. Then I am considering dropping down Rte 421 towards Boone, NC, hopping on the BRP (there is still a closed section to be re-routed around the Linville Falls area) & riding the BRP all the way down into Cherokee... although I am open to suggestions.

I am definitely hoping to meet up with some pilots along the way. It sure would be nice to see some Feejers in front & in back of me.

Anyone?

Well Heidi... I'll reply just so you're not listening to your own echo in here. I'll be riding up from Alabama, assuming I finish the cabin before EOM. Hope to see you there.

These are some of the best roads in the area hy far! You're trip won't be expedient, but it will be fun!

Just watch the hot-dogs at the country store!... or anywhere for that matter.

S&P... you are right, Shady Valley's roads are out-******-ragious. I was down there a little over a month ago with my bud ridgerunner & his girl. Met a real live hooligan named Matt while at the country store. He allowed me to take a pic of him & his bud riding wheelies up the street in front of the store.

Don't worry, I'm not one to get caught up... or sit around with the hooligans... I like to ride!... not sit around and talk about it.

Oh BTW... I am not rock solid on this plan, either. I know that it won't expedite my trip. My original plan is riding out with ridgerunner & Joe Prentiss & his wife. I just don't know whassuupp yet.
