Smitty, has the issue with installs for the AE model been resolved?
I believe smitty has conquered that beast.

Smitty just finished up a cc100 for me with a bluesea fuse block and did a wonderful, professional quality job.If you're in his area and need something done he'll do a first class job on whatever he works on,and at a reasonable price. Thanks again smitty, regards Trimmantom

I don't think there is an issue with the AE install. Which "issue" are you referring to? My CCS-100 works great on my AE. I have about 10K faultless miles on my AE with the CC.

First time around, I put it under the seat with the computers moved. Recently, I put the modules back in the tool tray and put the servo in the chin of the bike. I don't recommend the chin location any longer. Smitty is able to locate the servo under the '06 gas tank, below and in front of the T-bar. '06's have a large open "airea" up there with plenty of room for a servo. I put my aux vacuum cannister up there. I'll eventually move my servo up there, too.

Can't beat it. No need to move computers, lot less heat than in the chin, still plenty of room for airflow under the tank. Only tough part is you have to drain some radiator fluid and remove the water pipe from the top of the water jacket to get the servo tucked away. Adds about an extra hour of work, but it sure makes for a slick install.
