Now that I have a garage, I took the time to tear into my ride. My wife was convinced that I'd never get the pile'o'parts back together...
I followed the advise I received here about where to mount the servo, executed the installation exactly as shown on Marc Lewis' site, and used Skyway's excellent control-pad mount to finally get a real cruise control on my ride.
At first, it didn't work but then I realized that I had forgotten to install the vacuum hose! :fool: I quickly ran it to the #4 carb port and off I went for another test ride.
Man I tell you, I was smiling ear to ear in my helmet when it kicked-in and adjusted for a hill. :yahoo:
I still need to put the fuel-filter in to smooth-out the actuation but I'm soooo jazzed that I have a real cruise control now, not just a throttle lock.
So, a couple of minor issues remain to be addressed:

So, a couple of minor issues remain to be addressed:
- It doesn't accel very well (it take's a long time to increase speed).
- Speed adjustments are faily abrupt. I presume this is because I don't have a vacuum canister installed? The dip switch is set for high power-to-weight.
- There's a distinct delay in activation time - a second or so. Normal?
