Anyone looking to get rid of an aux fuel cell for a Gen II?

I started dabbling in endurance rallies a couple of years ago, and now that I sort of know what I am doing, realize a fuel cell is the next thing needed to become even slightly competitive.

Other half is not too enamoured with the pricing of a new set-up, so I thought I would see if anyone on here had one they might consider selling.

My preference would be something that took place of the pillion seat, but was quick and easy to remove when she who must be obeyed wants to ride, but I am willing to consider all options.

Must be within IBA limits with stock fuel tank.

Thanks

Pete

If you don't find one, IBPete makes a fantastic in place of pillion aux tank with a nice mount on top for duffles, pelicans, etc.

If you do it yourself and have it painted locally it's definitely reasonable.

Thanks Mountain. I definitely don't have the necessary skills to build one myself. Any idea where I can find IBPete? I have been able to find some blogs and forums, but nothing that offers any contact info.

Well he has a nifty users manual and will sell the whole system or just the tank or whatever. He's in San Diego and will also do the install for around $160.00.

Getting mine put in soon, he was also mini featured in iron butt magazine. Semi-retired and guarantees tech inspection if you ever find yourself there.

Pete I have one for you with pelican case, gravity feed 4.7 gallon cap. Close to home Stroudsburg, PA.

PM also sent.

Thanks to all.

It appears Peter Murray has exactly what I am after, and we are working out the fine details etc.

Mountain, are you Josh that was sitting with Hotch, Matt, Kyle, and myself at the MD2020 banquet last weekend?

BUSTED!

That's me. I apologize in advance as the beer (and Matt's Bourbon) was delicious.

Now Pete, that's not true. I told you I don't mind!

Oh, you were talking about the redhead, weren't you? Damn that Rick!

Now that is just wrong in so many ways, but funny all the same.

Kudos to Pete Murray, from whom I picked up a nice setup this past weekend. Just got to find time to get it installed now. (Dan, just think of how many long dirt rides we can ride with 11.3 gallons of fuel on board, but don't tell Gerard.!).
