For what it's worth ... I have tried Avon Spirit tires and a couple of bikes, while they seem to grip well and perform, I will say that I had a heck of a time getting them balanced (professionally). And it had not happened before the avons. We're not talking just one set, but two sets on two different bikes. It was not a rim issue or a bike issue, as soon as I decided to try a different brand of tires, in this case the Pirelli Angel GTIis, the balancing issue was gone.I was just looking for some Spirt St tires on quite a few different seller websites. They are all out of the front tire, but have the rear. I wonder if it has something to do with the last post from Mossyrocks 13k above? Anyone know what's going on with the Avon manufacturing of these tires?
