Just put on a new set of Storms this weekend. Rode the bike to work this morning (80 miles). Took the back curvy way. They seem pretty nice. The turn in seems better than the old Azaros. That just might be because they are new and I forget how the Azaros were when new. I got almost 8K out of my last set. Rear was down to wear bars and the front was really shot. Cupped pretty bad. We shall see what kind of mileage I get from these.

Keep us posted. Got 13k out of my last set of Azarro's (mostly LD slab), so you'll be getting some good wear just about the time I have to make a decision...

I put a new storm on the front before WFO. Now, 3500 miles later it is performing well. I particularly like the ease in which it turns into the corners. It seems to turn in better (quicker) than the Azaro's I had on there previously.

One reason I like the Avons is due to their warranty. You get a free replacement if you pick up a nail or other damage before it wears beyond a certain depth (3 mm?). I have already had one free replacement tire due to a nail. There is something about new tires that attract nails -- I don't understand it but this should be a law of physics.
