I was watching Superbikes on Speed. The show itself is silly to me, but some cool rides are shown.

Case in point.

One dude had temperature sensitive paint! Below 75F, the bike was black. Above it was blue (kinda like an 05) with black graphics.

Yeah, cool stuff. Check out https://www.alsacorp.com/

They have a lot of other really neat effects paint. Things that are glow in the dark, spiderwebbing agents, marbling agents, and all of that can be mixed with the temp reactive stuff.

This means you can have a base color, and as it warms up you get an appearing pattern of spider webbing. I've been wanting to do this one for a few years, but that paint is mad expensive.

Ha ha! I'm thinking of painting my FJR... but that stuff would be almost pointless down low on the '03!

(Except when the bike's been sitting.)
