This buyer must a real newbie. When I was looking for my "couch rocket" I was looking for more.

I wanted a bigger engine. A 150cc just doesn't have the power to move me. I love big V-Twins. At least 1300 cc (about 650 cc per which is ~2.75 cups), you know FJR sized. It should be normally aspirated, fuel injection gives too firm a throttle.

There is no mention but tires are important. I prefer rounded performance tires that wear well versus those wide over sized things. With performance tires the ride is not overly soft and transmit a great feel for the ride you're taking.

And it is silent about the saddle! It has got to be narrow to allow you to get your body really into throwing the bike around and soft enough to allow you to ride all day or night.

After two failed couch rocket purchases I also looked hard at reliability and long term maintenance. When I say reliability I mean, quick to start..everytime... no headaches...... and only responsive to my touch... wiling to accept what the road offers us. As to long term maintenance it should only require little more than everyday TLC, regular maintence... keep the fluid levels right and you're golden.... a sturdy frame... looks good without accessories but looks fantastic when dressed out and able accept some mishandled rides without falling apart

(This was a spur of the moment response and I expect some of you will express your insights better I have thoughts about wheels, ABS, adjustable windscreens LOL)
