I was under the impression that the Ducs were superior to the Japanese rides, why the engine size difference, or, is Yamaha trying to be the giant slayer they were in the late 60's/early 70's? Is this the way it is in Moto GP also??? I realize I'm showing my age.
Huh. Well that's interesting. I guess I hadn't made the connection that "Team Latus Motors Racing" (Jason DiSalvo on a Duc 848 in the #2 position at Daytona) is backed by George Latus, owner of the local Latus Harley Davidson dealership in Gladstone, OR (a Portland suburb). So, evidently, a v-twin is a v-twin, right..?
