AZ FJR riders who have installed Audivox Cruise Control?

Hi guys. I just purchased an Audiovox CCS-100 (at higher than list price due to the scarcity of them) and I plan to install it in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if there was anyone in the Phoenix area who had already done such an install and would be willing to help out a fellow rider with the process. I've found a bunch of forum topics with instructions, but I always feel more comfortable working with someone else who has gone through it before.

I won't be tearing into the bike for another couple of weeks, so there's no rush. My Mom is visiting from the East coast next week and I want to make sure my bike is in riding condition while she's here so we can do some touring together (I'm renting a bike for her to ride).

Anyway, if anyone has a completed installation that I could peek at, or if you are willing to actually come over here and help me out with the install on my bike (or just stand nearby and laugh when I do something wrong), post up. I'd appreciate any help I can get!

I'm in Northern Phoenix (Near Cave Creek Rd and Loop 101).

Everybody that I know of around here including myself are Nancy Boys. We all had somebody else install it for us. Best of luck.

Ifn you trust a Californian (who lived in Phoenix/Chander for 15 years), I'd be happy to take some of the heat off of Smitty141 and other board guru's of the AVCC. I finished my install last month on my Gen I and would be happy to be another resource to pay forward a small fraction of the great assistance I received from this board. PM for ph #.

Thanks guys! I will send out PMs. I appreciate the offers for help, especially being a relative new guy around here.

I am actually looking forward to doing the install. I kind of enjoy the challenge of it, but it is certainly a whole lot nicer knowing there are folks around who are willing to help out if I get stuck.

I also had someone install mine. I assisted with the work and could help if needed. I am in n. phx also. Looks like we are neighbors. Cave Creek and Pinnacle Peak road. I have video and pix of my installation as my bike is in heaven now. PM me if I can be of service.
