Well, kids....just got home tonight. Six thousand miles plus. Dallas, reno, minneapolis, dallas. What a trip. I saw drivers puking, saw the grim reaper, became an honorary canuck and was well intoxicated every night on this 18 day trip. What's the going rate on washing a motorcycle?

I think I'll skip washing the scoot. As for the tree thing....no, I had complete confidence in myself leaning the scoot onto the kickstand. I can do it.....can any of you? lol

I'm still working on the "unwind" thing. On beer number eight right now. May take a few more. Most of the trip was medicated with various types of whiskey. Works well in a pinch.

Waiting for the canadien contingent at a coffee shop somewhere's north of tahoe a car came around with some dude wearing a cloak of some sort....driving slow the "reaper" nodded his head once at me and I gave him the peace sign. Reaper habit in a trashed car nodding at me.....

As for the un-official 1000. Groo set the pace....I was a tourist. I should have some pics of him. A bit of security for a guy with a plug in his rear tire....is all I was. As for *****....I guarentee ya's that she is looking at all of them.

Carver, yes, that was me. I was trying to get ahead of you guys. (Kalifornians are always so slow). When I was aboot to pass y'all that cop at the bottom of the hill gave me other plans. Then I thought....hey....I have no clue who these guys are....I ain't riden with these clowns. FNG's are just a cover band for classic rock/southern rock. It's funner to watch. No, they don't have any cd's released. But, I have some cd's I can burn of my own tripe that I record. No, too much work...and, it's tripe. Sorry.

Ya know....you guys worry more about the radar detector going off then actually watching for LEO's. There was a cop there...right before we went up the hill. That's why I took second. Otherwise, I would have left y'all in the dust.

I'm just a back up in the band. I only play when the other gtr player can't play. The bass player(who I've met previously to playing in the band) approached me one day and told me of his plight. His gtr player got sick and he had already fired the other gtr player a month before. So, he asked me if I could play. My response..."you serious?". So, he gave me a list of 40 songs to learn. The next day and the day after that I played gtr for them.

Cd's...yeah. It's a cover band. Ain't going to sell. My music...I call it "sensory deprivation chamber music". Also, not going to sell. That's why I fix airplanes....it pays the bills.
