Hi Gang,

I've been MIA for quite a while now- Real Life took control of me for a bit. Just wanted to say HI, I've missed you all, and the forum antics. I've been riding still, just not posting as much. Looking forward to a great season with the craziest bunch of FJR owners around. For my birthday yesterday I took out my youngest daughter for a buzz around- not too much snow left around here right now, all in all a good ride. She's my little ridin' partner... This picture was from one of those days she came with me on a Tag-o-Rama ride... That little Pink riding jacket isn't going to fit here anymore, so if anyone is interested in it let me know.....

Wow man, welcome back! After your posts about building a rearward facing BACK OFF car sprayer you went MIA and I was concerned that a cager may have taken objection...

Still putting in long hours at the shop? I think the last time we crossed paths was at a Dunkin Donuts in Boscawen, NH.

Lmao, Yeah that "Device" is still installed, it's only for joshing around with my buddies though- Never been fired in anger... lol Glad you remember the town, because I don't. I just knew it was in NH. I do have a souvenir of the trip though. What a good ride that was. I had a blast with BrkK12 (Dan) riding the mountains that day. He's a hell of a host.

Hello DC,

Man its been a while. I thought the wife made you sell the rig since the little slide down in TN. Glad your back. We will have to get together sometime to for a ride.

Dave

Lol, naahhh- if she didn't make a stink when I took my SV airborn off that off ramp a few years ago; a little slider ain't going to get her all worked up. Nah I just got all sidetracked with life- had to straighten out some stuff, so I could do fun stuff again. Broke my heart not to go to NAFO last year. I'd have loved to get another crack at the dragon. Oh well life goes on.... Thankfully.

Name the time and well go do some riding- I'm off weekends until mid April; after that I'm not sure what my days will be. Probably still have at least one day off on weekends. Looking forward to it.

I was curious about the "back-off car sprayer." Sounds like a useful item. ;)

But a quick look at your posting history shows . . . nothing. This new forum software only seems to go back one year. Not as convenient as it used to be, IMHO. But anyway, is anybody able to link to that post? I'm picturing the oil sprayer gadget on James Bond's DB-5, and I WANT ONE!

But anyhow, it's good to see familiar names return. I sometimes wonder what's happened to some of the folks who post a lot for a while and then go missing.

Lmao- yeah. That was one of my better posts! At EOM 2009 there were so many people that were like " oh, your the squirt bike guy!". It was worth a few laughs for sure! Those links were to you tube and the videos have been dropped from that account. I'll see if I can dig em up on my PC, I must have copies somewhere... Glad you enjoyed it- the whole intent was to (A) see if I could do it and ( B) make people laugh when I finished it.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Ride safe- DC

Chris, Good to hear from you again. I was worried something happened to you. Be more than happy to ride with you again - as soon as it gets a little warmer and the roads up here get cleaned up a little. Dan

Thanks Dan,

Good to be back- I shouldn't have dropped off the face of nowhere, this is a tight nit community and I should have paid it more respect than I did. I'm glad to be back, Let me know about a ride, Maybe one of those great group rides in the Spring. EOM'09 was really the first great experience I ever had with group riding, nice routes, experienced riders, two way radio's, etc...... What a blast..
