That's just nasty. Mostly I feel sorry for the wife and especially the kids for having to be there and see the results of the act of stupidity. Damn.

I don't think this is real at all...especially as there is an ad for "local helicopter schools" to the left of the video. Not to mention if this guy was an actually helo pilot, I am sure he'd know where the rotor danger zones were.

I'm not sure if its real either but the sign for a school makes sense.. he wasn't familiar enough with the blades plus the blades droop more when running slower.

****! Fake or not, hard to watch.

There was this veterinarian in Athens, AL. He wasn't very good. (One visit with Dinah, my Dalmation, and I never went back.) Anyway, one Saturday he and two friends are prepping for a private plane flight. The prop is spinning and, you know how they're kinda invisible? One of the guys (not the vet) walks right into the damn thing and shreds himself.

Hah! Funniest thing I've seen all week. Only way it coulda been better was if he had jumped up and down with glee. :p

Fake. Stop the action on the hand that is coming toward the camera and it's a fake. Even a prop blade with a much sharper leading edge wouldn't sever it that cleanly.

so fake, boom that rotor sits on was way over his head and he hadnt walked far enough away to account for the blades drooping. It ws pretty funny though. Would have been even better if we got a close up of the nubs afterwords!
