Maybe the girlfriend left a toy under the seat????? ;)

Well the real answer would be no this is not normal. If your feeling some serious vibes in the seat I would go have the dealer check it out.

Good luck and welcome the the asylum.

Feel it in the bars and foot pegs? you will it is normal?? Throttle Body Sync @ 600 miles, then read all the posts about bar end weights, cushioned grips etc. I don't know if it gets better or you just get used to it, but it is less noticable to me as I age.

It may not be normal, but is prevalent. I have the symptoms you describe on my 08 that I didn't have on my 04. I've seen other peoples posts, on this forum, with Gen II FJRs that describe the same thing. Mine seems to have either mellowed ever so slightly at 8,000 miles or I'm just getting numb to it. It is still there though. I have a sheepskin on the seat that helps some. I've tried just about everything shy of putting a PCIII on it. That may be the answer.
