Can someone tell me how to remove the bags??

Uh, yer kiddin, right?

Insert key, turn lock, lift handle pull bags upward and back.

Did you not get the supplimental owner's manual covering the bags?

Unlock the side case. If you look between the lever of the case( part that opens the font of case) and the Handle, You will see a gold tang with an orange sticker on it. If you see the orange sticker, twist the lock the other way. Then pull the "handle" of the case towards you. Mine was very tight, and it may POP a little bit. Try jiggling that case when you are doing it. Dont use to much force!!!

You could also try the MCML method, but it requires great skill, some luck, and a willing HD rider to hit you in just the right spot. Then repeat for other side.

As long as you don't have a top case, just giving it a shit load of throttle in first gear should throw that bag of yours right off the back end. Be sure to catch her off guard so she's not holding onto you.

Man these guys are rough.

When I got my bike I asked the salesman how to open the glove box and to remove the bags.

No one knew how to do either. The female Sales manager had to come show them.

When I picked up my '06 Tony (Lotecredneck here on the forums) from Sports City Yamaha in Texarkana gave me a VERY thorough review of the bike. How the seat adjusts, how to open remove almost everything that might need to be removed (including how to get to the battery). He could've had one of his employees do it, but he did it personally (not sure if that's SOP for him or not).

My understanding is that D&H is also very good about explaining features and such.

Don't reward inferior customer service by giving any more money than you have to to that dealer.

Don't forget that the bag manual is separate from the bike manual (or was in past years). Since some of the bags were back-ordered, it is possible that the bag manuals are MIA, too. None the less, a PhD in Quantum Physics is not required to figger it out...

I found that it's much easier to remove a bag from the FJR than it is from the Honda ST.
