Bar Weights...which to get

Looking to add heavier bar ends to the FJ. Wanted to find out what everyone else is getting?

I found the Salamanders just moved the vibrations up the scale and they came on at a different RPM is all. I took them off after a couple rides. YMMV. Put the stockers with grip puppies on and called it a farkling day...

I bought the HVMP X-Heavy HVMP Bar Ends

They look purty but I actually noticed more vibration and will be going back to stock with my Beemer Sports Grips.

But did I say they were purty?

Do the Throttlemisters or the Salemanders fit with the factory heated grips?? Also do the Grip Puppies affect the heated grips?? Inquiring minds want to know. :lol:

I bought a set of bar enders, they also are great helmet locks since Yamaha left this important feature of the FJR

Got the Manic Salamanders on with the OE heated grips - no problem. You can "tune" the spacing between grip and weight with washers so there is no throttle hang-up. Nice folks to deal with, too.
