I'm hoping for a spiral wound constructed MC battery like the Optima.

We have one in a race car that's lasted six or more years.

It's in a total loss system (no alternator) that gets the **** charged out of it at the track.

The thing is outside all winter long with no charger, works every time after a little charging.

Supposed to be much better in high vibration applications.

I may very well be confused, but I was under the impression that the Optima batteries were FGM technology batteries, which are available from Yuasa (and probably others) for motorcycles.

What is this spiral wound stuff (beyond marketing puffery). I went to their web site and found no depth of information about this purported technological advantage, which makes one exceedingly suspicious.

Now-a-days it seems like marketing is a modern day way of saying "lies".

So why do kids have to go to college for 4+ years to earn a marketing degree when they knew how to lie as a 3 year old?
