Just installed a dry battery which I activated with the included acid electrolyte.

One thing I noticed which I don't understand -- groups of three bottles were interconnected at the bottom, opposite end from the fill/empty port.

Maybe that connection's purpose is to allow air to migrate from bottle to bottle as they empty.

Also the specific gravity of the liquid was listed as 1.32. I don't know if that's typical for Powersport AGM batteries?

By connecting the chambers at the bottom they only have to fill one to fill them all. And they self-balance when the top is opened. Then when you turn them up on end the three are isolated so you put the same fill in each cell of the battery.

Who knows what the SG is for AGM batteries? An hour or so after adding the acid it should be absorbed and no longer spillable or testable.
