Wow. Okay, that is AWESOME. How the hell did you find the time for this? I spend as much time as I can riding and STILL don't get enough seat time. If I attempted something like this I would never get to ride.

Very cool.

Looks good Mr. A but... went back and looked again. No humidor for the cigars... not sure if that acceptable. :yahoo:
Ahhh -I knew there was something, it just didn't feel quite right. That is (now) on the list and I think I got it figured out -

How 'bout something like the orange Pelican that Hickey uses for his bike humidor? :

You already know this, 'cause I know the way you think... but you have to test the crap out of that new system.. You have so many new wiring points, connections, possible fault areas.
Yep, Don ...trust me this thing is going to get hammered and abused in the coming weeks as I try to identify every loose end and week spot. Let's hope I don't find "too" many.it's maiden voyage will start next tuesday'ish.

I knew I had to put the bikes on blocks and not ride it ...it's been on blocks the last few months -with me sneaking a few hours here/there. Other bikes when i wanted to ride -but you're right, this project cost me a lot of riding time. I hope to make it up in the coming months -we'll see.

....When are the knobbies going on?
Ahaha -Damn right. soon, very soon.

That, Reno, is one impressively clean job of engineering, integrating, and installing...looks robust as hell too.

But you're not fooling anyone...I see the wires from your top secret toggle switch going directly to a remote keg tap  .

HOLY CRAP, RJ!!!!!!!!

THAT is probably the single best purpose oriented, anal retentive, perfectionist farkle fest I have ever seen! Even the tequila and shootin' iron have their custom places!

Not too much, but damn near everything one could have a wet moto dream about having on their LD bike. Me approve in the strongest of terms -- very, very impressive. It's not just buying farkles and putting them on, but it's the overall planning, engineering, re-engineering and super clean package you ended up with. DAYUM!!!!

BTW, you GOTTA get me the name and contact info of your suspension guy in Penryn. I'm gonna sell the XX pretty much bone stock, and will want him to swap the OEM front suspension parts back in for the presently installed Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 internals that I'll sell separately.

Major CONGA RATS, RJ -- very impressed over here on the warmer side of the hills.

(BTW -- I take it that those electrical bulkheads in the top boxes will enable on-the-fly use of your ganja vaporizer for moto-toking? BRAVO!!)

(Nice bike, too.)
Thanks Mike, ...yep she's our joy ...and we still can't believe we created something so fun and silly. She's got a lot of irish heritage too!

Funny -thanks on the nice words -as you know this project has been going on for a while.

Remember you promised me first dips on that blackbird so don't **** off of it until we do or don't.

Yes, I will hook you up with scott in Penryn. He's the best and is selective -I got in via a good buddy in ******* Pines but have built a good relationship with Scott. You'll like him, and he's very, very good.

This reminds me of the way they used to prep stock cars, back in the days when they really started out as stock cars.

What are the particulars and sources involved in that sanitary and bullet-proof switch box?

Unbelievable.

Best.FarklePorn.Ever.

Grace might be the coolest 1.x year old ever. Thanks to her insane father, of course.

SHAWEET!!!!! :thumbsupsmileyanim: :thumbsupsmileyanim: :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Very cool, even though it's NOT the slightly slower but oh SO MUCH MORE technically advanced Gen II.....

You were right though. Peter's a great guy. Went out for dinner (chicken Parmesan with 4 kinds of cheese and angel hair pasta sorry, no food **** pics. It was a family restaurant) and shot the **** about all things FJR. He even had good things to say about you

Rest assured he's got some big plans for the bike as he preps it for his IBR5000. Damn guy was trying to suck me into the world of Rallying. I had to get out of there before I caved.

I was gonna sit on that watercrossing sumbitch but then then the thought of catching herpeghonnasyphilaids didn't appeal to me.

BTW, you new bike... you suck. :yahoo:
