Just a reminder of the things that are out to get us.....

-Cooler temps mean more zip to the rear tire and a bit less stick to the rear/front....Adjust corner speed and emergency stopping distances.

-Leaves... to add to the gravel that you're looking out for.

-It's great that you've seen the school bus stop in front of you BUT has the person comming up behind you(personal favorite from sept 06' *watch you'r

mirrors AND have a way out)

Stay safe....

If there's a vehicle coming towards you and you think he might be makng a left turn.....

Has he seen you? Does he have his signal on?....Prepare for the worst!..

It's also "frisky" time for those forest rats... Bucks get really stupid this time of year - don't sleep or eat much - they have other things on their mind and will show up at the darndest times... a little later on they'll find their rib cage pinned to my sights.

Wow Don, GOOD catch!

All the forest critters start hitting the roads as the nights cool off, I'm starting to notice more road kill in these parts. Must be the road heat is starting to feel good at night.

Watch em.

:jester:

I'm sure not everyone will buy into this, but I have myself convinced.

Everytime there is a full moon there seems to be a huge amount of road kill. Maybe because they hunt more at night with the additional light, or maybe they just get lunaticy. I don't know, but when ever there is a full moon I am extra cautious.

As we are quickly approaching Fall/Winter, the sun's angle will get lower in the sky, which increases glare for a greater part of the day, so it's even more important to be wearing your sunglasses and/or helmet tinted shields. Protect them eyes, guys.
