Those are just some excellent shots. I have ridden the Beartooth maybe 4 times. Your pics really captured what it's like to be up there. I plan to be there again with my son riding his Honda in about 3 weeks. We will have point and shoot, but we should get some good shots. I mean, how can you miss up there? I remember pulling into Cooke City coming from Red Lodge, looking into my rear view as I was pulling into a motel, and seeing a Bison crossing the street. I have never done the Chief Joseph, but plan to do so on this upcoming ride.

 
For those thinking of heading that way and have the time: Between the SW end of Beartooth highway and Cooke City is the north end of the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway. Its 47 miles long and heads toward Cody, WY. It it a spectacular road for motorcycle enjoyment as well as scenery.
