When I went over Beartooth this last August, it was about 28*. Meanwhile, it had been about 95* from the first few days going through Calif, Ore, and Ida.
Brisk in a mesh pants/jackt and no heated gear.

I don't ever remember seeing that Beartooth Summit sign and I've been over there about a dozen times. It must be new or I was going to fast to see it.

Take your carbed XR650 up. The elevation and air density will slow you down, and you'll see it. LOL
The sign is, as you can see, pretty dammed small, and easy to miss. On the north side, about 15 yards off the road around one of the summits.
Probably hard to spot when ripping over the range on an FJR.
