I just sent this to Patch...He's gonna need this set up if he's gonna keep riding past the next week or so. Just better get some heated gear, cuz at 30mph sustained, that's gonna be a cold *****!

Last weekend at the Seattle bike show, Niehart and I saw a GS with studded DOT knobbies. Front looked to be a 21", and the bike appeared *well* used... These BMW types are sure a hardy bunch!

FJR Pierre to the courtesy phone please! Those dudes were speaking French and it would be interesting to know what the rider's impressions were during the debrief at the end of the video. Looked like it would be pails of fun as long as you didn't hook the tip of one of those skis on a manhole cover or something...
