Looks like updated packaging from Bel-Ray. All of their new packages are black caps instead of the traditional blue.

How in the world do you know all this stuff?

Amazing.

Thank you for your help.

Do you know if Be-Ray grease is same as Lithium Soap Based Grease?
Companies that make grease make many different types, you have to read the labels to see which type you are getting. Grease companies will identify grease types by making them different colors and there are some industry standards for color.

Now I understand your apprehension at being caught on camera.

I'm guessing you were the one on the right.

I would guess one is chassis and body grease, and the other would be for wheel bearings and water sensitive bearings and contains the lithium soap base to seal out water.

+1 And they only list the black cap 99540 waterproof grease on their web site. No mention of any grease with a part number of 95000-TB16 (Blue cap)

Black Lid 99540 Bel-Ray Waterproof Grease Bel-Ray Waterproof Grease is the legendary high-performance, multi-purpose grease. Superior water resistance, even in salt water, will ensure continued sealing and protection. Perfect for wheel bearings, headsets, shock linkages, swing arm pivots and other motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and marine chassis lubrication points. Due to its aluminum complex formula, it won't melt or run out. Enhanced mechanical stability and special anti-wear additives protect and lubricate bearings for improved performance. NLGI-2
