So I put almost 900 miles on my new gen III last fall before putting it away - over the winter I put on a new set of Beowulf cans and a K&N air filter. On my first ride this spring, I noticed a slight backfiring on decel - not the loud occasional pop, but a more consistent low-toned burble. From everything I read in old posts on the subject, this is normal and nothing to worry about and the only cure is removing PAIR. Is that the current thinking as well ? It seemed pretty consistent even cold vs warm engine. Thanks for thoughts..........

So it's the first time you've been out on the bike with the new exhaust?

The bike is doing nothing that it hasn't always done. The less restrictive cans are allowing the noise of the popping to come through louder than the stock cans, the same way they allow everything] to come through louder.

Yes sir, and they sound good don't they? I put some on over the winter as well and absolutely think they are the best sounding slip on I have owned and that has been about all of them!! You will love them!

The scream at wide open throttle and the growl at deceleration of my Two Brothers is music to my ears.

Enjoy.
