This is the best looking guard I have seen for sure. Are there any other guards that might be less likely to cause extra heating? The last thing I want to do is make the FJR produce more heat.

Just a clarification. Mine will hit 3 bars a little sooner and drop to 2 after a little longer than without the guard even on hot days (90+). We just don't get that many here.
Not ever having tried one of the other guards ,I can't really compare it to anything else. Would be kind of nice to have a side by side temp test with another FJR or two.

I remember reading maybe two months ago that a fellow named "[email protected]" had been working on some homemade rad guards, and was selling them to owners for about $50.
