Hi all-

I'm thinking of getting a set of Beowulf cans for my '08 FJR. Am I going to be able to simply swap them out or am I going going to need to also get a pc and remap?

TIA

Have an '04, all I did was install the cans & ride. For the price these are a very good improvement.

I just bought a pair from another forum member. Should get them early next week and when their fitted and I've gained control of my senses I'll let you know how things seem.

Just put them on and watch the smile appear on your face as your bike is transformed into a growling beast. I have the carbon fibre cans on my 09 and didn't have to do anything but enjoy them after installation. I like mine with the baffles out.

My only complaint is that my mileage has gone to hell. Mostly because I'm running it harder because it puts a big smile on my face when the revs go up. :yahoo:

Oh, be still my beating heart! You guys are just making my sweaty palms and palpitations even worse!

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have the 380 mm or the 450 mm ?

I have the 450mm cannisters and they fit great. IMO, Beowulf is on par with systems that cost up to $300 more! It is one of the best manufactured and sounding systems on the market today.

That's exactly what I'm expecting tomorrow ...450mm carbon fiber cans! Roll on!!!

Just slide 'em on and enjoy. I have the 380's. They still end up the same distance out the rear, the connector pipe is just longer, that's all. I have absolutely no regrets.
