Best commercial?

Okay, we're halfway thru the big game. I've seen a couple good ads, but overall, I'd give it a 5 out of 10 so far.

Best one for me was the dude in a suit with Doritos waiting out the mousetrap, only to have the life size mouse bust thru the drywall and kick his ass.

Got any favorites so far?

I'm pretty disappointed so far too. The Under Armor commercial SUCKED! The football game, for the first time in years, is actually marginally more interesting!

I do like watching it in HD on the really big screen!! It is pretty cool!

Oh, and I love Tom Petty, but WTF? Tom Petty??? That would have been suitable, say, 25 years ago all the way through about 10 years ago, but NOW? Do they think the only ones watching are old farts like me?

Tom Petty = Old Farts. Old Farts = Those who have the most money to spend. Those who have the most money to spend = ROI on commercial space purchased. Pretty good marketing strategy, IMO. Plus, no chance of a wardrobe malfunction.

Tom Petty? That looked like Keith Urban halfway thru his rehab stint.

WTF is up with Jeremy Shockey sitting in a box with a drink while his team is battling? I've never seen an injured guy NOT on the sidelines with his team in a situation such as this. That is lame, guess it shows where his priorities are? Sorry, hijacking my own thread. Uh oh, Giants just scored. In about six minutes, the Patriots are going to score about 40 points.

Dang, I missed the VS commercial. For first half, I gotta go with the Pepsi commercial takeoff of Saturday Night Live. Yeah, it was stupid, but that was always my favorite stupid skit on SNL.

Lost interest in the whole affair and went to dinner after the halftime show. Tom Petty looks really old on a big screen in HD.

I kinda liked the FOX commercial with the terminator beating on the robotic football player. I laughed my ass off when the t-man popped put of the wall and threw him around!
