But if you're gonna use the oil filter, you gonna need an additional 0.23 quarts of something. Might I recommend Delo or Delvac for the additional 0.23 Quarts??

:)

I would avoid Fram oil filters like the plague personally! I have seen too many of their cardboard endcaps disintegrate. To quote This Research from CalSci, "Accordingly, never use a Fram, Pennzoil, Penske, Castrol, or Quaker State oil filter in any motor you like. All of these filters are made by Fram. The filter element itself is a normal paper element, and probably no better or worse than anyone else's paper element. However, the end caps on the filter element are made of cardboard in these filters."

Pony,

I Knowed that :p

But with all this premium oil, who needs a good filter? ;)

Hey Rick,

for that .23 what about Amsoil?

Well actually,

I found the best oil supplement conditioner in the WORLD!!! Just use about 3 tablespoons of that left over blinkerfluid. Stuff makes her smooth as silk.

WW

With that concoction I think I'd just use an old do-rag for the filter and the oil that's in the do-rag as the oil supplement.

How about just mixing all the recommendations in a bucket and then you would have the best oil in the world for numerous oil changes. Then you could just leave the filter on (to plug the hole) because the oil wouldn't really need a filter.

Fram filters were banned from the racetrack because of bad threads. An oil down tire at speed is a puckering event. The bad ones were from Malaysia or somewhere.

I was cornered because of my oil advise of just use any oil and keep it changed.

Well why do use Rotella synthetic then? Because I'm anal and hang out on the internet with a bunch of really anal types. LOL
