Speedtv.com is now reporting that a deal is in the works to send Biaggi to the Sterilgarda Ducati team owned by Marco Borciani -- the team that runs Ruben Xaus.
The "variety of other reasons" in the article you linked to, Randy, is apparently a conflict of interest between the works team and GSE since GSE team owner Darrell Healey is the personal manager of Troy Bayliss. If that's really what killed the deal, I think that means Ducati won't let GSE into WSBK at all. That conflict of interest would exist no matter who is on their bike. Bummer for GSE.
