I think he should have used the same tire in back - maybe two and make it a trike.

How do they mount that tire without destroying that spindly looking wheel. Holy cow!

I think they did it the other way around - they didn't mount the tire on the wheel, they built a wheel inside the tire. It looks like two pretty narrow rims (one on each side) laced up with spokes.

 
Get a Harbor Freight Tagalog trailer. Put a flat bed on it in place of the storage box. Build or buy a hitch. Here's a link...link to trailer and hitch
