Nice work Ray and Don! :) It's awesome that we're able to help each other during times like this.

Heal up quick G2G, we'll be rooting for you in the IBR.

Way to go Ray. I can't think of a better place for a bike to be under the conditions. Wish I was closer to be of assistance, but the new address doesn't lent itself to recovery work in that area. How about a little gas money to your PayPal? Let me know if that works and I'll fire off some $$.
I'll second that.

Glad to see you have the help needed. I hope you heal quick Good2go. Can someone post a link to the FJR Assist sign up?

I would like to be listed in case anyone in this area needs it. You guys out west always answer the call and take action. Great action on your part guys! :clapping:

** UPDATED JAN-16-2009 **

Ok folks Bungie has taken over maintenance of the Assistance list. There is a new email address to which you can send your information. It is now [email protected].

That address again:

[email protected]

The list will be sent directly to FJRForum members who request it. I also think that everyone can offer something even just the use of a phone so if you plan to request the list you should seriously consider putting yourself on it.

Please email the information don't PM. Thx.

Here is the info we need for the list:

- FJR Forum name/handle

- First name (I hate having to call people and ask for them by handle. "Hello could I speak to Road Rash please?")

- City

- State

- Phone/Cell number

- type of assistance you can offer (Such as technical help, tools, tent space, extra bed, comraderie, able to transport bike (trailer/pick-up). Anything else you can think of.)

Remember this is supposed to be a list for emergencies. It isn't necessary to say you will help with planning a trip to your area. Afterall that is what the forum is for.

The address to send the information is:

[email protected]

Thanks to Bungie for taking this on.

The plan for the day was to ride from Ely, where I spent the previous night, to Redding, CA via Winnemucca and Klamath Falls...
I SAW YOU!! It was about 20 miles or so east of Elko, near the Halleck exit. I was headed the other way in the G-ride (NHP Charger). So sorry your trip ended this way, but glad A) that it wasn't worse, and B) that fine folks are taking care of you. Here's wishing a speedy recovery for you AND the bike.
LOL! I remember seeing you as well because my RD went nutz. Hadn't seen an LEO since entering NV and was wondering where you all were.

Ray really went above and beyond today. Tow company charged an extra day storage which Ray covered for me. I've since reimbursed him plus gas. Good man, that Ray :) .

Heal up fast bro'. Broken ribs suck wind.

I sent off emails to Don pronto this am as soon as he notified me, with the assistance list and a local contact just in case. On my way out to work there wasn't much more than support for me to give. I saw Ray had jumped into the breech early and fast. Excellent and giving response Ray -- many cudos. Nice to have a retired guy with a trailer, shop AND goats around! Cudos to you Don for activating the response team so fast.

Nice bunch 'o folks, huh?

+1, Gunny! ShinyPartsUp was Johnny on the G Spot! Ready, willing and able to help Greg when he got off of his work shift. However, by then Big Ray already had Good2Go's FJR in his LaPine shop. SPU is always helpful and will never miss an opportunity to "visit" with FJRay's herd of goats!

It's OK Ray. The sickness starts that way. I bet there are others on this forum who have property in their wives' names to fool the IRS. When you are ready, there is a BA group (Bestiality Annonymous) nearby. Tell the girls I'm waiting for Spring to visit. Shoot! I guess I need to hit another BA meeting fast.

Seriously, that was one great deed you did. I will call you Thursday after my class and I want to hear all the details.

Doc says 6-8 weeks to heal, which is still enough time to make the IBR start, but am bummed I won't be getting much riding in until June. Oh well, I'll get REALLY good at routing ;) . Besides I've been riding all winter a have a couple of 4day-4k rides under my belt so not too worried about that.
We're pulling for your quick recovery, both bike and rider. We'll let you run the LC-11 Rally from the couch this year... so stay connected on the list to get your packet and have some more routing practice.

Just saw this. What the feck you doing G-baby? You be an Arizona boy! Snow? Snow?!?! SNOW?!?!?!? I hope you wife is kicking your *** proper. Or better yet, maybe a little hit to the ribs.

Glad to hear your ok for the most part. I bet those ribs are going to be FUN.

About your SPOT. I carry mine on me but after my last lowside have been thinking about mounting it to the bike. What's to say a tumble down the road won't break, or rip the SPOT off you where you may really have trouble finding it? Don't know what the best option is.

FJRAY. Wow. What a guy. I gotta remember that the next time I crash, I gotta do it near you! Way to go buckaroo.

Hope you can still make the IBR as I know you were looking forward to it.
