It was thrilling; I'll say that. If you love coasters, or even Go-Karts, like you and your ringer of a better half, you'll love ploughing through a deer on a motorcycle. I can't comment on what happens if it kills you. But if you live through it, you get one hell of an attitude adjustment. And yes, I was worse before I rode through my deer. My FJRForum days are strictly "post deer".

WC did it to a coyote, IIRC
WC is murder on the wild life. He split a deer on his ST resulting in emptying a clip into the remnants, the tinkling of brass casings heard all over the road. He stuffed a coyote into the fender and chin fairing of his FJR. The man owes himself a peccary now

Broad daylight and Bambi is out crossing the road. Bad enough that I reduced my night riding out of concern for deer. A sobering video. At least the rider stayed up. A reminder to be vigilant even in the daylight hours. Thanks for posting it.

I've seen Bambi and his mama and pop out more in the middle of the afternoon than I have in the late afternoon or evening...

Dont' ask about morning, the only ones I see then are wandering across my yard with a cup of coffee... We take a while to wake up...<G>
