Is there a way to quote just part of a post?

Sure,

You can hit the quote button and the 'Enter Your Post' page comes up. Scroll down to the next box and you'll see the text from the post you are quoting. Delete any text you don't want leaving the desired text that you do want. Doing it this way preserves the "QUOTE (Clark Kent @ Nov 29 2005, 09:51 AM)" info on the top of the quote box when you add your reply.

Or,

Just as you would do in MS Word, simply copy the text you wish to quote then hit the 'Add Reply' button then click the 'QUOTE' button just below the FONT SIZE COLOR boxes, paste your text after the [ QUOTE] then hit that same Quote button again. Then add your comments.

It should look like this before you post:

[ QUOTE]Howie is a ********!

Yeah, no kidding! And I hear he likes boys, too! :p -Clark

See?

Edit: It figures when I use the quote button on this particular post the friggin' thing ain't working right! Harumph!

(Howie... J/K, bro! :D )

Howie, As a super hero I have to make sure I don't go blind. I would be flying into tall buildings if I was blind. So, I will pace myself. :super1:
