Biker injured by errant golf ball

"Her husband told police that they were riding their motorcycles when he saw the ball bounce across the road and near her motorcycle. There, it careened into her face. She was able to avoid wrecking her bike, but the ball knocked out “several” teeth, the report said. She was taken to Middle Tennessee Medical Center for treatment."

My dad lost teeth on the streets of Detroit growing up to a golf ball. Some joker teed it up down the block and caught him square across the grill. (I'm guessing that a relative must have moved to Owosso.)

My dad used to scare us when we were little by taking the dental bridge out of his mouth and giving us his goofy smile with only a few teeth hanging from his jawbones.

When I first started playing golf I used to play at a county owned course that ran along I80. I sent more than one ball out onto the interstate. I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
