My 2005 FJR (w/ ABS) is in for 26,000 mile service at the dealer. I have good experience with the dealer, so they are not the issue. Rather, is there anything over and above what the manual states to which I should draw the dealer's attention from a service and preventive maintenance standpoint? The bike runs like a top so I am simply trying to be thorough.

I won't be changing tires until next spring.

No signs whatsoever of any "ticking" (valve guide) issues on this bike.

Relevant ideas welcome from the fertile minds of the members of this forum.

Many thanks.

I think my OEM front brake pads have only made it to about 25K miles (both times) - definitely worth a look. You've probably got another 15 - 25K before the cam chain tensioner starts rattling but I don't know any preventive maintenance for that...

When's the last time you changed clutch and brake fluids? How about lubing your pivot points?

I think there's a list in FJR tech re: maintenance and intervals.
