I spoke to Bill this morning on the phone...I just placed the order last night online...he says send the seats today and says there will only be a three day turn around when he receives them...

Looking forward to the pictures and review

I have a BMS that I bought used from another forum member - he bought the bike used and the BMS on the bike did not fit him.

While my BMS was not made for me - the guy it was made for must be pretty close.

I rode 1,060 miles in under 16 hours back in July and rode around locally the next day. Well worth the money.

Anyone have any reviews on the pillion seat? My pillion rider doesn't like the stock seat... no surprise there. She also doesn't like the corbin I have now. So I'm looking again. I've thought about trying to go the Spencer route but not sure if that's going to work either

What does she not like about the Corbin?

With my BMS, the seat feels harder than my stock seat did. Short rides/around town, I didn't see (or feel) a comfort improvement.

On the open road, after several hours in the saddle, the BMS never got uncomfortable. The longer I am in the saddle, the more compliant the foam becomes, without ever fully compressing/bottoming out.

She say's the corbin pushes her to far forward and makes her feel like she's sitting right on top of me. If you look at the corbin pillion seat it does have a little scoop to it that shortens the seat quite a bit. Plus on top of that the room needed for the corbin backrest slot there's another bit of seat taken up. I personally like the corbin. I have one on my VTX as well. She likes the one on the VTX. But, the corbin for the FJR is not for her. So I'm back looking trying to find a seat that fits both of us.

How does the Bill Mayer pillion compare to the Russell pillion? Anyone have experience with both? How do your pillion riders like the Bill Mayer or Russell? Should I start a new thread for this?

i cant blame her about the corbin. You've got to have a pretty small frame to fit comfortably on it. my passengers are constantly sliding themselves back (even with the little scoop in the front and the corbin backrest to lean against). there beutifull seats though and i'm comfortable on the front.
