I need to be in Washington to attend a wedding on June 30 so will have to head that way after CFR so will miss this one... I trust you'll carry on without me and I'll be there in spirit!

I have a room reservation at Bell's so if anyone is interested in it, let me know. :)

Miss T, your absence will surely be noted.

BP, looking forward to meeting you. Stay tuned, the only thing you need to sign up in advance for will be Saturday Nights New York Steaks dinner.

We generally eat pretty well here in South Dakota, any doubts just take a look at my well-fed physique.

I post this link as an invitation for those attending to try a little of what makes South Dakota special: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/south-dakota/unusual-meals-sd/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=south-dakota&utm_campaign=newsletter]https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/south-dakota/unusual-meals-sd/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=south-dakota&utm_campaign=newsletter[/url]
John, do say that the Walleye meal is served regularly in town there and if so, who does it best?
The Steerfish has an excellent Walleye Almondine as well as great steaks, about a 5 block walk from the HQ and you have to walk right past one of the top ten five bars in America, the B&B on your way. The Millstone at exit 12 also has Walleye but not nearly as good or as classy of a setting.
The Steerfish it is. Haven't tasted walleye since fishing the MN lakes 15 years ago with relatives on their boat.

Mr. Highlander, the signup for the steak dinner hasn't happened yet.

I got this response from bigjohnsd:

"Not yet, probably in early May when I have costs pinned down. The local Lions Club will cook our steak dinner and the timing is kind of up to them."

Dinner sign up and payment will be by website, I hope. The local Lions Club will be doing our dinner, like we had in Red Lodge. The Lions Club needs to figure out how much $$. Once figured out I'll put it on the website and begin collecting $$. I'll start a separate thread when that happens. With folks from two Forums and multiple Facebook Groups attending the Website seems like a better option for registration, dinner etc. A friend is building the website and it should be online in mid-February. The dinner info and signup should be available in early May.

With all of the food and bar options...I might have to just stay for a month...

They post the limit for Harleys and Motorbikes, I dare say that that speed may have been exceeded upon occasion by members of this forum. JSNS
