Blogging/Vlogging Ok?

So, for many reasons, I've started vlogging and blogging on sport-touring. I'm just starting out, but I was wondering if there's a specific policy, written or unwritten, about posting links to my own blog. I know it's self-promotion, but I'm hoping the content is sufficiently interesting to be valid outside of my own ego.
