It has been so dam blamed hot here in the N.Ga. but I had to go for a ride today.
So I decided to go to the coolest place I know, Mt Mitchell on the BRP.
It was sooooooo nice riding up in the elevations of 5-k plus I didn't want to go home.
They are doing quite a bit of new paving up there between Asheville and north to Mt Mitchell.
That particular area has had pavement issues for a lomg time, broken pavement and such,it's quite a lot better now.
Also 215 north of 64 in N.C. is being repaved with very nice asphault, it's not finished but will be nice when finished.
A nice 375 mile ride without having my ass baked off. I had fun.
Any body else been cooling off up there? I met a BMW guy up there from near pidgeon forge who said they've had 58 staight days of 90 plus.
