Hear is my thought on an intecom system. I purchased a Scalarider headset (Cardio Systems list $154.00) from ebay for $72. It is a Bluetooth headset that links to my cell phone (bluetooth of course). It is an easy install and movable between helmets. Fairly easy to operate even with gloves on. I can "call" my rider or buddy in the group handsfree wireless with voice commands. He can hear me pretty clearly below 70mph in my full face mod helmet (the slower the beter). With all the cell phone comanies offering an "in" network or free nights and weekends it is free to chat. Just my 2 cents.
Also, if you phone is an mp3 player there is your wireles radio.
Any one tried anything similar with a built in blue tooth helmet? My wingman is trying to talk me into the BMW System 5, but I find a grand + for a helmet a little much.
