It is possible ( as I have done so ) to have switched AND un-switched power from a single PDB.
Go to easternbeaver.com website and have a look at some of the kits they have available.
I think many will be enlightened.
For example: I mounted the 4 fuse block with relay ( & 48" leads ) in the space behind the glove box. ( Gen II )
My GPS is constant and my heated grips, cruise control and intercom are switched. This location also reduced the
amount of wires I had to run back and forth the length of the bike. Only the intercom required wires past the gas tank.
