For me, they just feel right! I like the size, wide outboard then taper down towards the inside. The diameter fits my hand and feel very comfortable. So what is so special about the BMW grips, they look very simple?Just asking.
Yes, the right one has a larger hole for the throttle tube. Why are the two part numbers different? Is the right side and left side different from each other?
They are $10 and some change per grip at my local BMW dealer. I ordered a pair late last week. Was that $10 for each side or for both? I was able to find both with shipping to Chicago for $35.00.
They are shorter than Yamaha grips. For the throttle side I put a Vista-Cruise throttle lock to take up the space. For the clutch side I moved the clutch housing on the bar to the left to take up the space. Here is a link clicky. This is where I found the info. It is all very simple to do.Do I have to make any modifications to the 2007 FJR if I want to install the BMW grips?
Where can you get this tubing you speak of? Thanks!Yes, the right one has a larger hole for the throttle tube. Why are the two part numbers different? Is the right side and left side different from each other?
